Future investment

Water is something we all rely on every day, but keeping our water services reliable for our communities takes long-term planning and investment. That's why we've committed to a 10-year capital investment into our water infrastructure — so it's reliable now and for future generations.

$400M

total planned investment over the next 10 years.

38 years old

that's the average age of the drinking water and wastewater pipes across Carterton, Masterton, South Wairarapa and Tararua.

All 31 treatment plants

across the four areas require ongoing investment over the next 10 years to keep water services safe, reliable and compliant.
